We run the events where foiling is raced, the awards where it is recognised, the panels where its discussed and the films where it is told.
Everything under We Are Foiling is built around the same idea: give foiling the structure that sailing gave to every other discipline. Since the first forerunners lifted clear of the water, foiling has gone from experiment to discipline to industry. We Are Foiling brings together the events, awards and networks that made that happen, and keeps them connected. Racing, recognition, storytelling and development, under one roof, with one aim: faster sailing and cleaner mobility on water.
Introducing a new We Are Foiling programme
The future of foiling is not only about results, speed and new manoeuvres. It belongs to young athletes who live the sport, keep pushing their own progression and share the journey with a growing community.
This is the idea behind GEN F, where the F stands for Foiling of course: the new We Are Foiling programme supporting the next generation of sailors and riders. Emerging talents who stand out not only for what they can do on the water, but for how they tell the story of their sport and bring others into it.
The first athletes to join are Daniel and Dylan Cullen, better known as The Cullen Bros. We met them at Foiling Week and were struck straight away by their talent, their energy and the natural way they tell foiling from the inside. They are exactly what GEN F is about: progression, creativity, personality and a real passion for sharing the ride.
